My Autobiography
Note: This is a document I will be working on for a long time. Each day I will add a few new sentences and sometimes I will work with my mom to go back and make edits.
My name is Jordan McLinn. I was born May 15, 2009 in Indianapolis, Indiana at St. Francis Hospital. My mom's name is Laura and my dad's name is Jeffrey. My mom was 36 when I was born and my dad was 38 years old. My dad is my best buddy in the whole wide world. My mom is the best mom in the world.
I used to live on South Meridian Street but now I live on a little private lane . I have lived on the lane since I was 5 years old.
When I was 3, almost 4, I was diagnosed with D.M.D. D.M.D. is a fatal muscle disease that affects all of the muscle in the body. When I was 7 1/2 I started a clinical trial to try a medicine that can slow down the progression of my DMD. I get an infusion every week.
On my first day of kindergarten I was so scared I wanted to stay home with my mom. I thought the other kids would think I'm weird and some of them did. Some of the other kids thought my hair was weird.
Along my journey I have made a lot of good friends. My best friends are Manny, Tommy, Quinton, Jack, Cooper and Cameron Willis. I can't forget Ezra, Evie and Eliza who are my neighbors.
I have 4 sisters and two of them are adults. Two of them still live with me. My sisters names are Haylie, Michayla, Danica, and Isabella.
My favorite thing to do is play Legos. I have a lot of different Lego sets. My favorite Lego set is my Apollo 11 rocket. I got that for my 100th infusion celebration.
Before the 2020 RNC a few other people and I went to the Abraham Lincoln childhood home to shoot a video with Vice President Pence. It was very fun but it was really hot because we were outside the whole time.
